Love Island's Whitney faces severe backlash over her 'changed behaviour'

Show bosses are eager on shaking things up in the villa this Summer Love Island 2023. 10 sexy singletons embarked on a journey of love, fun and drama as show host Maya Jama welcomed them all.

A lot has happened in the villa in the last 5 weeks from Casa Amor's dumping and brutal Movie Night and the unexpected dumping in the villa after public votes led to sending 2 couples home. With about 2 weeks remaining for the show, the villa doesn't have the kind of connections that usually win.

Love Island fans slam Whitney for her changed behaviour

Love Island's Whitney and Lochan were picked as the favourite couple in the villa after a public vote. The two then had to save one couple out of Kady and Ouzy and Mitch and Ella B from getting dumped from the villa.

And fans are convinced they made the wrong decision of saving Mitch and Ella.

It was also a popular opinion in the villa where most islanders agreed Kady and Ouzy had a strong connection and they should've been saved. Seeing how Whitney and Lochan's reason to save Mitch doesn't make much sense, fans have worked out why Whitney saved them. Taking to Twitter they said:

Look at the ARROGANCE of this girl. I agree Abi is bitter, but WHITNEY also needs to admit that she is/was holding a GRUDGE against KADI because of the ZACHARIAH incident between them before CASA.

Her reason is total BS, because she knows ELLA B came in for TYRIQUE.

If I’m being honest with what’s been said I feel like Whitney and Lochan sent Ouzy and Kady home because she doesn’t like Kady. Because even their for saving Mitch wasn’t making sense bc Mitch doesn’t even have a good character

Whitney has always been her unapologetic self in the villa and fans have loved her for that. However, in tonight's episode (July 19), fans saw a changed side of her. Unhappy with her behaviour with Abi in the villa, they are convinced that popularity has gone to her head. One said:
