Love Island fans convinced Whitney and Lochan made the wrong decision: 'Stupid choice'

Our Summer essential is back! ITV2 and ITVX aired Summer Love Island’s 44th episode tonight and 10 sexy singletons embarked on an eventful journey of love. Show host Maya Jama has entered the villa twice with unexpected twists in this series and viewers are loving how messy this series is.

A lot has happened in the villa in the last 5 weeks from Casa Amor's dumping and brutal Movie Night and the unexpected dumping in the villa after public votes led to sending 2 couples home. With about 2 weeks remaining for the show, the villa doesn't have the kind of connections that usually win.

Summer Love Island's Whitney and Lochan save Mitch and Ella B

After the public voted them as their favourite couple, Whitney and Lochan were given a chance to save one of the bottom two couples. Amber and Josh were immediately dumped from the villa for receiving the lowest votes and Whitney and Lochan decided to save Mitch and Ella B. Meaning, Kady and Ouzy were dumped from the Island as well.

While many fans wanted Kady and Ouzy gone too, seeing the other option was Mitch and Ella B - they're not fully convinced that Whitney and Lochan made the right choice. Arguing over their decision on Twitter, they wrote:

Wrong choice there guys, ella b and messy mich had to go man

They should have saved Kady wanted to see Mollys face

That was such a stupid choice, Mitch and Ella have no future and Mitch has had a billion chances to find someone like ????

Kady is taking the dumping well but I fully expected Whitney and Lochan to kick out Mitch and Ella and tbh that would have been the better choice for many reasons. Kinda surprised they didn’t

In tomorrow night's preview (July 19), Ty is seen questioning their decision and many fans agree with him. They said:

Tyrique is right. This was definitely the wrong decision to make. Mitch has had endless chances to be serious

Ty is 100% right. That decision doesn’t make any sense. You had a couple that were actually exploring a real connection and showing compatibility and a couple where as soon as they touch Heathrow, one is going to run a mile

Actually gonna be backing ty tomorrow night because he’s right, the wrong couple got dumped
