By working on their mental health and personal growth, many individuals are now entering into relationships with a much clearer sense, and unabashed desire to communicate their wants and needs in a relationship.
Coming from both partners, this behaviour can lead to healthier relationships where growth (on a personal and relationship level) is prioritised over avoiding uncomfortable conversations.

To put it another way, for this new group of daters, respecting their own mental health is no longer enough; it's equally critical to date someone who shares this value!
