Birds Eye recalls Birds Eye Original 4 Beef Quarter Pounders with Onion

The product is produced by the company Birds Eye, and as reported by the FSA, the reason stated for the recall is that the product might contain small pieces of plastic which could be harmful when consumed.

The contaminated batch was sold only to Asda, so the recall does not apply to other supermarkets. The recall is also specific to England and Wales.

This product may contain small pieces of plastic which makes it unsafe to eat.

The company has recalled all the contaminated product and is also putting up point-of-sale notice explaining to customers the reason for the recall and what to do in case they brought it already.
