However, one Tesco shopper’s trip to the supermarket ended on an unfortunate note after her shopping revealed some shocking contents.

As reported by Surrey Live, Taria Cornelius from Chilworth was horrified to find that the packet of bacon she brought at Tesco contained strands of plastic inside.

Mother find choking hazard inside Tesco shopping
The mum was cooking with her son and opened up a packet of bacon from Tesco to find that it contained what looked like strands of plastic. Highlighting the seriousness of the situation, she says,

It was only 89p, so not very expensive, but that’s not the point. There is a lot of it and I have another pack in the freezer that I’m too scared to cook now in case.More under this adMore under this ad
I don’t know if other people got hold of it too but it is quite a dangerous thing, and I reckon it should be recalled.

Although the mum made a complaint to Tesco about the situation, and tried to procure a refund, she found the way Tesco handled her complaint, very unsatisfactory.
The store told her that she would only be able to get a refund if she came personally to the store but the trip back would be quite inconvenient and expensive for the disgruntled customer. She states,

A Tesco spokesperson responded to Surrey Live on the matter saying,
