A customer got more than she bargained for, after finding this horrifying surprise among her groceries.

Woolsworth customer shared nasty find on the Internet

The customer whose username is @octoberyy, captioned her video saying,

HELP PLEAASEE IS THIS NORMAL

The video shows the broccoli submerged in water, and surrounded by hundreds of bugs floating on the water. As per the customer, the bugs were alive!

She says in the video,

I bought a broccolini bunch from Woolworths and I found a bunch of these little tiny bugs.
They had legs, there were alive. I washed them in water and they are still there.

With so many people watching the video, there have also been a trail of commenters leaving their thoughts on the find. As per many viewers, the bugs in the broccoli are insects are known as Aphids.

A concerned comment encouraged the customer to let the store know,

if you’ve got the time its always a good idea to let woolies know. aphid infestations are a big issue for crops
