People have complained about being served raw Chicken McNuggets, while another customer reported that a McDonald's franchise served unacceptable items to their child inside Happy Meal.

Customer finds pennies inside chicken nuggets
The customer in question,Beth Rupert-Warren of Wintersville, Ohio, reported her shocking McDonald's food experience to local authorities earlier this week.
More under this adMore under this adAs per Jefferson County Health Commissioner Andrew Henry, the customer's daughter brought over some McDonald's chicken nuggets. When she started eating her food, to her utter horror, there was something metallic lodged inside the nugget. These turned out to be three copper pennies, as per her complaint to Wintersville Police.
The local police took the matter to the local health authorities. Jefferson County Health Department reached out to McDonald's to inquire further.

McDonald's response to the issue
As per Health Commissioner Andrew Henry, the McDonald's franchisee where the food was served, has removed the whole batch of the contaminated chicken nuggets.
