McDonald's customer left disgusted after being served raw Chicken McNuggets

McDonald's chicken nuggets have been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons. Although it is one of the fast-food brand's most popular menu items, the company have had many reports of customers receiving undercooked chicken nuggets, while in one case, the company has had to pay an eye-watering settlement to a little girl's family, after she got a traumatising injury from the company's chicken nuggets.

Now, as reported by Daily Hive, there has been another incident of a terrible chicken nugget experience for a family in Coquitlam. Here's what happened!

McDonald's has made another major food faux pas, after serving a Coquitlam mum with undercooked chicken nuggets. Even more disturbingly, the food was meant for her son, who actually fell sick due to consuming the raw chicken nuggets.

The mother had ordered the food from Coquitlam McDonald’s on Barnet Highway after 7:30 on July 27.

She let her son eat his food, without realising that the food was not properly prepared, as it should have been. By the time, she discovered the extent of the rawness of the chicken, her son had already eaten three whole pieces of nuggets.

Health authorities have been contacted

The mom recounts the aftermath of the incident saying,

We had to give him something else to eat while we waited anxiously to see if he was food poisoned. He didn’t sleep that night cause his stomach was too sore, and he felt ill the whole next day, refusing to eat.

As per the report, the mother went back to the McDonald's branch to complain, where she was told it happens when the deep fryer for the chicken nuggets is overloaded. The branch however refused to refund the family for the sickening meal.

The mother has contacted the Fraser Health Authority regarding the case. The appalled customer said,

I am appalled that they’re feeding the public raw chicken and then not caring about my son’s health or willing to refund my money.
