As reported by Japan’s Rapt Theory, a McDonald’s customer has been left shocked and disgusted after finding a cockroach inside the McMuffin they were eating.

McDonald’s customer find cockroach inside his food
The customer in this case is a YouTuber named Tomoya. He put up a photo of a black bug he found inside his burger on Twitter, saying that he was eating a McDonald's in the morning and saw something inside that he thought was a burnt egg.

He also expressed how unacceptable this was. He said, as quoted by Rapt Theory:
I was eating a breakfast McDonald's and thought it was an egg cobwebs, but it was a dead cockroach. This is an unacceptable level.
The photo that he uploaded along with his complaint clearly shows the black bug sitting in the middle of his partially-eaten hamburger.

McDonald’s has acknowledged the customer’s claims as true
As per the report, McDonald’s has accepted that the allegation of cockroach inside the burger is in fact true. The fast-food company has started an investigation into the matter to find out where and how the rodent got into the customer’s food.
McDonald's investigation revealed that the rodent found inside was a 9 mm long ‘German cockroach.'
The incident has caused a lot of furore and anxiety among consumers who are worried about insects in food affecting people’s health.
