Isaac Newton predicted the end of the world for 2060 due to 'wars and cataclysms'
British scientist Isaac Newton is famous for his apple-induced discovery of gravity. However, he also made predictions for the future, and they're gloomy.
Almost 400 years ago, Isaac Newton was born at Woolsthorpe Manor, in the United Kingdom. He lived a long life at a time when life expectancy was rather short, and he died at the age of 84 in Kensington. Famous for his discovery of the laws of motion and universal gravity, thanks to an apple falling as rumour has it, he also dipped his toe in the psychic world.

Isaac Newton believed God predicted the end of the world
Many psychics have made predictions about the date and possible reason for the end of the world over the years, including Baba Vanga and Nostradamus. While Isaac Newton is mostly known for his works as a scientist and mathematician, he also had strong beliefs about religion and the future of the world. Stephen Snobelen, the Director of the Newton Project Canada, explained on his blog what Isaac Newton believed in, saying:

Thus, to use Newton’s own words, he was convinced that ‘the holy Prophecies’ of the Scripture are nothing else than ‘histories of things to come’.More under this adMore under this ad
The scientist claimed 'wars and cataclysms' would end the world in 2060
Using the Bible and complex calculus, Isaac Newton came to the conclusion that the world would end soon, in 2060 to be exact. According to Stephen Snobelen, the British scientist believed 'wars and cataclysms' would cause the end of the world as we know it, but it would not be the end of our planet. He explains:
For Newton, 2060 A.D. would be more like a new beginning. It would be the end of an old age, and the beginning of a new era. He believed Christ would return and set up a 1000-year Kingdom of God on Earth.More under this adMore under this ad
Isaac Newton explained he was looking forward to 'a time when people would ‘beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks’ and when ‘nations shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more’.
So, let's meet again in 2060 to find out if his predictions were true!
