Our Summer essential is back! ITV2 and ITVX aired Summer Love Island’s 21st episode tonight and 10 sexy singletons embarked on an eventful journey of love. Show host Maya Jama is ready to charm viewers for a second time in the 10th series of ITV2’s dating reality show.

As a summer full of flirting, romance, DRAMA and some serious fun in the Sun begins, show bosses set the tone right with the ‘expect the unexpected’ vibe of the show since the first episode.

The girls performed first and stole the show! Each one of them was gorgeous, and sexy and got boys' hearts racing like never before. The result of the challenge, however, was shocking.Sammy got the most number of hearts racing - Catherine, Mal and Kady. Zach came second with Whitney and Ella and one each for Mehdi and Ty - Jess and Leah, respectively. On the girls' end, there was a tie between three girls Ella, Leah and Jess. Ella got Ty and Scott's heart racing, Leah got Montel and Zach's heart racing and Jess got Sammy and Mitch's heart racing.

While Ty's heart rate was raised the most by Ella, Ella got hers raised by Zach. Mehdi's was raised by Catherine the most and Whitney got hers from Zach too. Additionally, she was also annoyed with Mehdi for kissing every girl in the villa. Love Island fans are convinced drama is hitting the villa soon, one said:

Are new couples incoming after the Heart Rate challenge?

The following night's preview saw Mehdi and Whitney getting into a fight after Mehdi kissed all the girls in the villa which ended up in him walking away from Whitney. Meanwhile, Ty seemed really frustrated that Ella's heart didn't get raised by him. Discussing the results of the heart rate challenge on Aftersun even Maya, Indiyah and Sam agreed the Islanders need to chat with some other Islanders after the heart rate challenge.

Surprisingly, a popular opinion online remained Zach and Whitney getting to know each other. One fan tweeted:
