Big Brother UK slammed for editing out major 'pettiness' from the show this week

Big Brother UK 2023 has made its grand and iconic return on TV. The show has returned after 5 years with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best as the hosts. 16 people have entered the house and will be our daily source of entertainment. Contestants are battling out for the prize of £70,000 to £100,000 as they take part in the ultimate social experiment.

Housemates have already bid goodbye to six fellow housemates and things are starting to shake up in the BB house.

Big Brother UK slammed for not airing Jenkin's pettiness on his birthday

One of the best and worst things about having a Live feed on is that fans really know what's going on in the house. In yesterday's episode (November 5), it was Jenkin's birthday and unfortunately, he was also put up for eviction as a result of losing Hunger Games.

During the party that Big Brother threw him for his birthday, there were treats for everyone in the house. The BB Live feed showed that when Yinrun went to take a piece of his birthday cake - as any party guest would - Jenkin outright denied her. He was later seen chatting with Tom and Olivia that he'd rather throw the cake in the bin than let anyone of the other group have it. Tom ended up saying its their 'petty season.'

This comes after Yinrun invited Jenkin to her party after winning the secret task. Seeing the footage of Live stream circulating on social media, many fans were left fuming that the producers edited out Jenkin's peak 'petty' behaviour. They took to X and shared:

Where is the clip where Jenkin told Yinrun she can’t have any cake. Why are the producers protecting this bully

When #jenkin gets evicted and wonders why, here is an answer: Yinrun invited him to her party over her own friends because he had had a rough time; he told her “I’m not sharing” the cake and then moaned about her for suggesting he cut the cake. Selfish, greedy and mean!

Today's episode (November 6) saw Jenkin try and be nice to Yinrun and Trish after being put up for eviction. Pointing that out, fans added:

So now Jenkin is nominated he is on damage control because he has heard from the crowd how well like Yinrun is… we haven’t forgotten how spiteful you were with the cake!

Jenkin is so fake. In the live yesterday he was bitching about yinrun trying to cut up cake for everyone and how she didn’t deserve it to his 2 minions.

Jenkin you can keep your fake reconciliation. We saw the live stream clip where you just said you're not sharing cake with the other group and rather see it in the bin than them. Also telling Yinrun she's mistaken because she got a knife to share the slices
