Big Brother UK branded 'racist' as show bosses mix up 'prize and punishment' in the recent task

Big Brother UK 2023 has made its grand and iconic return on TV. The show has returned after 5 years with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best as the hosts. 16 people have entered the house and will be our daily source of entertainment. Contestants are battling out for the prize of £70,000 to £100,000 as they take part in the ultimate social experiment.

Housemates have already bid goodbye to four fellow housemates and things are starting to shake up in the BB house.

Big Brother UK fans confused about Trish's prize and Chanelle's punishment

In tonight's episode (November 2), Big Brother UK housemates played the Big Brother's Big Button task. The housemates had to press the buzzer on the sound of bell chimes and they were then given either a prize of a punishment by the Big Brother.

When Trish pushed the button she was offered a Prize in form of a house pet. She was asked which housemate is the 'easiest to lead' and she picked Tom - who ultimately became the 'Little Lost Sheep' of the house. While it appeared to a prize but it put Trish in the bit of 'villain narrative,' according to the fans.

Meanwhile, when Chanelle was picked for a punishment, she was handcuffed to the housemate - Yinrun - she has spoken to the least in the last 24 hours. Seeing how the prize resembled more like punishment and punishment felt more like a prize, they took to X and shared:

This comes after Big Brother revealed the secret Halloween eviction task to the housemates, including the names of the housemates who exercised the power vote.

The revelation put both Trish and Noky in a 'negative narrative' for the other housemates. Many other fans added:
