King Charles cut Prince Andrew’s annual grant
Prince Andrew started to rely on his late mother’s generosity to support him. Indeed, the late Queen Elizabeth funded her second eldest son through money earned from the Duchy of Lancaster, which was reported to be around £249,000 a year.

Prince Andrew’s only other income is from a small Navy pension. A friend of the Duke’s said, as reported by Daily Mail:

King Charles won’t let Prince Andrew be homeless
Despite cutting back Prince Andrew’s income, it is reported that the King won’t let his younger brother become homeless.
Indeed, Royal Lodge, where Prince Andrew resides, requires a lot of refurbishment, which the Duke of York will no longer be able to afford. Prince Andrew has reportedly been telling his friends he may have to move out by September.

However, a royal source told The Telegraph that ‘the King is not going to leave his brother homeless or penniless.’
As reported by The Independent, King Charles has taken into account that his brother was gifted Sunninghill Park in Berkshire as a wedding gift, but Prince Andrew decided to sell the house to a Kazakh billionaire for £15m in 2007.
It is believed that King Charles now expects his brother to ‘use his own money to pay for things’ as he has done with other Royals.
