In an interview with The Cut, Meghan Markle opens up about her house hunt with Prince Harry as they relocated to the US.

However, since neither of them ‘have jobs’ they originally refused to visit the home as it was priced at $14.65 million.
More under this adMore under this adWe didn’t have jobs, so we were just not going to come and see this house. It wasn’t possible. It’s like when I was younger and you’re window shopping—it’s like, I don’t want to go and look at all the things that I can’t afford—that doesn’t feel good.
She then explained that together they did ‘everything they could’ to secure the home for themselves. For them, this home was a place they felt happy and calm:

The Montecito home was cut by $10 million
Forbes journalist Carlie Porterfield revealed that the Montecito home is actually worth $10 million more than the price it was sold to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as reported by Express.
