In fact, when the King used to visit Wales, he would stay in his beloved Welsh home Llwynywermod, which he bought for £1.2 million. Since becoming Prince of Wales, William has made a few changes and it is believed that King Charles isn’t happy with his son’s choices.

Prince William to rent out Welsh home
As mentioned before, Prince William inherited the Prince of Wales title, and with the title, came the land and thus the home King Charles loves. Media reports that Prince William plans to rent out the Welsh home.
According to Daily Mail, the King’s beloved cottage will be available for rent starting in September. This means that if King Charles wants to use the cottage for a holiday, he would allegedly have to pay like any other person.

Prince William didn’t renew his father’s lease on the cottage, meaning that the King now has to move his belongings out of the home. According to reports, the cottage is priced at £2,400 a week.

King Charles allegedly ‘miffed’ about Prince William’s decision
King Charles would often spend a two-week holiday in Wales each summer and would stay at this Welsh cottage. When he was Prince of Wales, King Charles restored the cottage with the help of architect Craig Hamilton.

A source told Daily Mail that King Charles was ‘disappointed’ and ‘miffed’ with William’s decision to not renew the lease.
