Sustainable basics at lower prices
Primark Cares is the bargain brand’s vision of how they want to make sustainable fashion affordable for everyone.
With the changes in force, all Primark Cares t-shirts will be made with more sustainable or recycled materials.All the cotton in its menswear and kidswear t-shirts will also come from Primark’s Sustainable Cotton Programme, the largest of its kind of any single fashion retailer.

The study also indicated that 38% of shoppers in some parts of the UK fear rising prices and bills will stop them from shopping sustainably.
It also established that UK shoppers are facing a crisis of conscience, admitting the importance of making environmentally-responsible fashion choices even when the prices bite, Liverpool Echo writes.
Sustainable Cotton Program
Primark’s Sustainable Cotton Programme uses a range of manmade and natural fibres, with cotton as the main material to make its clothes.

Primark’s sustainable cotton is grown using more natural and regenerative farming methods, including reducing water, pesticide and chemical fertilisers application, and training farmers.
