Traces of lead and formaldehyde bamboozle customers
The Sunreported yesterday that Winnie-the-Pooh’s cheeky grin contains levels of lead and formaldehyde that are over the permitted amount set by the EU regulatory rules.

Likewise, formaldehyde is no child’s play. It can cause hormonal imbalances along with headaches, dizziness, and nausea.

Primark has recalled Winnie, saying that they take customer safety ‘very seriously’ and are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of contamination.
If you have purchased this product, you should return it to any Primark store for a full refund as soon as possible. They will take it from you with or without a receipt. An enquiry form is available for those who cannot visit the shop in person.
