When we think of all things yummy and sweet, we instantly think of big brands that bring us comfort with a tinge of nostalgia, like Nestlé. However, the company has recently warned their customers about one of their products which could be contaminated.

The company is issuing a voluntary recall for a limited quantity of Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough 'break and bake' Bar (16.5 oz) due to the potential presence of foreign material.
More under this adMore under this adThe affected batch numbers are 311457531K and 311557534K. These products were produced on April 24 and 25, 2023, and have corresponding best by dates of 8/22/23 and 10/23/23.
It's important to note that this recall is not related to any other Nestlé Toll House products, including variations of refrigerated cookie dough in 'break and bake' bars, rolls, tubs, or Edible cookie dough.

While there have been no reported illnesses or injuries associated with these batches of cookie dough, Nestlé USA is initiating the recall as a precautionary measure.
The concern arises from the potential presence of wood fragments in the affected products. They said:

Here's what to do if you purchased the product
If you have purchased the affected products, it is advised not to consume the product. Instead, you should promptly return the affected item to the retailer where it was purchased. Most retailers are equipped to provide either a replacement or a full refund.
