The audiobook was promoted on CNN by playing a short clip where Donald Trump is overheard saying that he had a great relationship with Kim Jong-un, the leader of the pariah state.

Donald Trump met with Kim Jong-unpersonally and was engaged in brokering peace terms between the US, South Korea, and North Korea.
Woodward asked Trump about Kim, and cited the CIA which thought at the time that the North Korean leader is 'stupid', to which Trump disagreed, saying he is rather ‘cunning’ and ‘crafty’, The Hill reports.

Trump also reportedly exchanged what he called 'love letters' with the North Korean leader.
According to CNN, the comments by the 45th US President stunned Woodward,

Bob Woodward said his audiobook is integral in trying to understand the former US President, which he called 'a threat to democracy’.
More under this adMore under this adMeanwhile, Kim Jong-un rarely leaves the country and when he meets world leaders they are usually not representing the democratic world, therefore it is surprising to hear a western leader claiming to have a good relationship with a dictator.
Kim Jong-un has increased the stakes against the US and this year alone has been busy overseeingnumerous tests of ballistic missiles.
