An inseparable duo

Mo and Mouse, two gorgeous Saluki Lurchers came into Good Life Dog Rescue in very poor condition. They were emaciated, distressed and were suffering with sore skin. One of the pups, tan and white Mo, also had incredibly painful feet and legs.

The pooches received the necessary medical care at the rescue and were treated with antibiotics and steroids. They also started to recover from their trauma and let their playful personalities shine. As a result, both pups are now looking amazing.

❤️❤️MO AND MOUSE. SPECIAL APPEAL. ROOM FOR TWO? Whilst we are on a duo theme today please please can anyone give these two ladies thier dream come true. Mo and Mouse have been waiting for many months and we are desperately searching to find these sighthounds a new start. Mo and Mouse are very loving dogs who came to us as underweight strays also with very sore broken skin. These ladies are now all better and sadly overlooked. Our girls are very active, super fast and will need a larger enclosded garden to burn off energy. After a good walk we know these young ladies will be the laziest and most contented of hounds. Please help. Please support adoption of our long stayers. ❤️Strays kennels everywhere are bursting at the seams. We desperately need to find love matches at our charity and have many strays waiting in the wings for help. Kennel spaces are essential so we can keep helping these abandoned dogs. www.goodlifedogrescue.co.uk

‘More than anything they love each other’

The volunteer-based charity doesn’t know much about Mo’s and Mouse’s upbringing, or how they are related.Mo is slightly older and about one year to eighteen months, while Mouse is around one year old. It is a bit of a mystery if ‘they are mum and daughter or just very close friends’.

Although Mouse was a little nervous when she first came to the rescue, she has come out of her shell and has become ‘a bit of a cheeky lady now’. Both pups are described as loving and full of energy.

The ‘stunning and adorable’ duo bonded and Good Life Dog Rescue are determined to rehome them together to avoid another heartbreak.

A special home for a special duo

Mo and Mouse are looking for a home that will accommodate them both.

They will be happy with an owner who has experience with Sighthounds and knows the traits of these dogs. They will need a loving home that can offer some guidance, training, and exercise, as these ladies like to stay active.

Ideally, this duo’s special humans will be a couple or a family with older children, ready to put time into helping Mo and Mouse unleash their full dog potential.

If their new owner has a garden, it would be simply amazing. This outdoor space will need a high fence as these special pups have a talent for jumping.

Mo and Mouse no longer have skin issues and have passed a clean health check. They are fully vaccinated.
