According to Hall, the dogs had no idea how much danger they were in.

When rehoming a dog, a responsible owner should drop them off at a reputable shelterthat will do its best to find a new loving family for them.

Sadly, this is not what a family who dumped these two pooches on the train tracks did. They cruelly abandoned their furry best friends ‘in the middle of nowhere’, with no regard for safety.

Someone dropped them off in the middle of nowhere, on these railroad tracks where it’s only industrial.

A rescue operation

According to Hall, she and a fellow rescuer Mary went out several times to try to catch the dogs but each time, the pups ran deeper into the train tracks in fear.

The kind-hearted women left food and water for the distressed pooches who’d hide in a gated structure at night and go in and out through two openings.

Hall explained:

Mary and I were able to secure one of the holes, we wanted to leave one open so they would go back in there during the night. Both Mary and I had nightmares all night but we knew we had to have patience and a plan.

‘They will never live on a railroad track again’

Finally, the duo managed to capture the dogs after crawling into the gated structure - and took them to the vet for a much-needed check-up.

Oh my goodness!! Some people should never be pet owners. You all did the right thing. May these poor pups find a loving home together.

These are beautiful dogs. May they find their forever home.

One more user asked:

Oh my gosh, who could do this? These dogs would have been adopted in a minute if they had even tried to rehome them or solicit a rescue. People are just the worst.
