You can now win free McDonald’s for life: Here’s how

Have you ever dreamt about having unlimited McDonald’s for free forever? Well, this seemingly preposterous idea is about to become a reality for some McDonald’s fans.

As reported by Food & Wine,McDonald’s is bringing back its famous McGold Card this festive season, which will give four lucky fans the crazy ability to have free McDonald’s for life. Indeed, it is hard to believe but the McGold card is not an urban legend but it is indeed a very real card which McDonald’s brought out for its fans for last time four years ago, in 2018.

Whoever wins the McGold card would have the ability to share the prize with 3 of their friends or family members. So basically, there will be 4 winners who will get to choose 3 more people each to receive free McDonald's for life.

This is due to McDonald’s ‘SZN of Sharing’ campaign this festive season, which enables people to share deals and discounts with their loved ones.

Tariq Hassan, McDonald’s chief marketing and customer experience officer is quoted as saying,

Our fans have been fascinated by the lore of the McGold Card and if it really exists.

And now, we’ll make this McDonald’s legend a reality for our fans by giving them the ultimate holiday gift – a chance to win a card and then share access to it with three of their family or friends.

How to get the McGold card

To have a chance at winning the card, you need to download and use the McDonald’s App. Every purchase you make on the app would count as one entry for the McGold Sweepstakes. The contest will end on December 25.

Even if you do not win the McGold Card this year, using the McDonald’s App will enable you to win other prizes. Each order of at least $1 will qualify you to win free menu items and merch, including hoodies, tees and stockings, which will drop between Dec. 7 and Dec. 14
