Macaroni and cheese

As per Marcus, most macaroni and cheese served at restaurants are pre-made and might contain a lot of toppings and additives. This can add up its calorific value, without contributing much to its taste. So it is better to prepare this dish at home to ensure that not only do you get a fresh serving of it, but it is also way healthier.

Chicken

If chicken is not prepared properly, you can easily contract food-borne illnesses such as Salmonella. Again, it takes some work to cook chicken right, and not everyone is successful at getting it to the right amount of done-ness that's not to dry, while being soft without being undercooked.

Scrambled eggs

Although scrambled eggs are delicious, the food expert opines that in many places, they are cooked and left on the hotplates for too long before being served. This means that diners looking forward to the joy of eating a fresh plate of scrambled eggs are often left quite dissatisfied.

Eating sushi from restaurants that don't specialise it in could come with many risks. The food expert explains,

In establishments not specialised insushi, raw fish might not be handled or stored correctly, leading to potential health risks like parasitic infections. Plus, the taste and texture could be affected.
