McDonald’s employee reveals controversial thing customers commonly lie about
More under this adAccording to an ex-McDonald’s employee, this is what customers lie about often, but that they can see through.
While eating at McDonald’s, it is not unheard of for some customers to try and outsmart the system, whether it be to get the best deal and discounts or to try and get the freshest food items. While these might seem like harmless hacks, too often, McDonald’s employees also have to contend with customers who outright lie to them in order to get what they want.

McDonald’s customers’ most common lie
TikToker Ally Eley, who posts under the handle @ally.eleyy has shared a video about an actual customer interaction she has had when she was working at McDonald’s.
More under this adMore under this adShe captions it as,
An actual customer interaction I had while working at Maccas
She shows through a skit how customers claim to be ‘allergic’ to certain food items, but clearly it is a lie. In her video, she pretends to be a customer who orders their Big Mac burger without pickles because they happen to be ‘deadly allergic,’ to pickles, but are totally fine with the Big mac sauce in the burger which also contains pickles.

Other McDonald’s employee in the comments also agreed with the video saying,
I used to work at Maccies and this happened ALL THE TIME
Another commented critically about the customer’s behaviour saying,
There's a difference between dislike and an allergyMore under this adMore under this ad
However, there was one person who related to the customer's experience of ending up with pickles even if they asked McDonald’s for no pickles. The comment states,
Bruh it is true tho I’ve asked for no pickles every time and I’d say 20% of the time they put no picklesMore under this adMore under this ad
Many other viewers agreed with the customer's actions. One comment supported the customer saying,
I’m on the customers side 100%. macca 99% of the time just puts pickles on it because the workers just on autopilot and don’t care
What do you think? Is it okay to claim an allergy in order to get your burger the exact way you want?
