McDonald’s recently brought back one of its most popular menu items ever: the McRib. This year is supposed to be the ‘Farewell Tour’ for the McRib, making it a bittersweet moment for its loyal fans who could be tasting it for the last time.

However, the McRib has also been a cause for serious disgust for some McDonald’s fans after a video has emerged of how exactly the dish is prepared.

A video shared by @MikeSington showing a point-of-view video of a McDonald’s employee taking viewers through the steps of how the McRib is prepared. The caption reads,

This video has been viewed more than 8 million times and has generated a variety of responses from fans.
The video shows an employee taking out frozen ribs, snacking them on a hot plate and then directly putting them into a brown sauce. The chunks of meat are just left sitting on the sauce until someone comes to order a McRib, after which the meat is transported from the sauce to the sandwich.

Many fans professed disgust at the way in which the McRib is made. A commenter said,
