McDonald's adds two new drinks to their summer menu, but there's a catch

Love it or hate it, McDonald's is one of the most successful fast-food franchises in the world. One of the reasons for its enduring popularity is that even though the brand has stayed true to its original menu items, it has also kept pace with changing taste and preferences by regularly introducing different menu items across different McDonald's locations. Just this month, the brand axed 5 popular items including Chicken Big Mac to make room for its latest menu changes.

Now, as reported by The Sun, McDonald's has introduced two items for its McCafe range which have arrived just in time for warmer weather. Here are all the details about the fast-food giant's latest launches.

McDonald's launches 2 new exciting items

McDonald's McCafé range provides fans with great coffee, breakfast items as well as desserts. The new items are the McDonald's Cold Brew and the Marble Cold Brew. Cold brews are made slowly by brewing coffee at cold or room-temperature water over a long time.

McDonald's is offering customers an assortment of toppings to go with their cold brew if they want. McDonald's is pricing these brews for around $4.69 for a medium but prices could vary as per locations.

However, for fans who want to try these out asap, sadly, these menu items are still in the testing phase. The new items are only available in McDonald's restaurants in Southern California.

It remains to be seen when these items will be added to the national menu.
