What is K-beauty?
K-beauty is one of the biggest beauty trends around right now. Inspired by South Korean skincare products and routines, it emphasises brightening and hydrating the skin to get a dewy, glowy look. You might have heard people talking about ‘glass skin’ or the ‘seven skin method’ recently - these are both K-beauty trends.

First up, the sunshine-yellow Lacura Pineapple Face Serum is designed to help even out your skin tone and give your skin a fresh, bright look. Its ingredients include pineapple extract, vitamin C, turmeric extract and acai extract. It looks remarkably similar to Glow Recipe’s Pineapple-C Bright Serum, which costs £46 for a 35ml bottle. Aldi’s version is £4.99 for 35ml.
Get rid of dark circles under your eyes with the £4.49 Lacura Avocado Bright Eyes Overnight Retinol Sleeping Mask. This overnight mask will lift, firm and brighten the skin around your eyes, leaving you looking fresh. It contains avocado oil, coffee seed extract, shea butter and retinol as well as niacinamide.

At £4.99 for 50ml, it contains Vitamin E, niacinamide and watermelon extract.
