Japan's Baba Vanga believes massive tsunami could happen in July 2025

Psychics have always been divisive figures. Whether you believe in them or you don't, they sometimes surprise us by predicting major historical events that actually turn out to be true. For example, some of them predicted the death of Queen Elizabeth II, or the Covid-19 pandemic.

This time, a lady who has been dubbed Japan's very own Baba Vanga is rumoured to have predicted a major disaster in the country, and it is believed to happen very soon. Find out everything you need to know below.

Japan's Baba Vanga predicted major historical events

Japan's most famous psychic, a former manga artist known as Ryo Tatsuki, has been making somewhat accurate predictions since the 1980s. The mangaka wrote her predictions in her diaries, which include drawings as well as actual writing. Her most famous book, entitled The Future I Saw, is a collection of her reportedly prophetic dreams. The book has resurfaced in recent years, as some of Ryo Tatsuki's predictions actually happened.

The Japanese psychic claims to have predicted the death of Queen legend Freddy Mercury in 1991, as well as the Kobe earthquake in 1995, which killed at least 6,500 people. The psychic dreamed about the earthquake on 2 January 1995, writing 'the earth cracks in Kobe, 15 days or 15 years later'. The earthquake happened on 17 January 1995. It is believed about twenty people believed in her predictions and decided to evacuate. In 1995, Ryo Tatsuki is said to have even predicted the coronavirus pandemic, which paralysed the world in 2020. She wrote:

In 25 years, an unknown virus will come in 2020, will disappear after peaking in April, and appear again 10 years later.

Ryo Tatsuki retired for good in 2020, the year she wrote as her 'own funeral', which may refer simply to the end of her career as a manga artist, but she still has some predictions—one of which is for the year 2025.

Tsunami in 2025

She allegedly dreamt that an eruption will start underwater, causing a massive tsunami in its wake. Ryo Tatsuki believes the heart of the earthquake will hit Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, and the Northern Mariana Islands, and she also sees 'dragon-like shapes' near Hawaii.

Earthquake in 2026

Moreover, the psychic claims a massive earthquake will hit the Kanagawa region in Japan, causing a tsunami that will wipe out the coast. She made this prediction in 1991, and she believes the natural disaster may happen in the summer of 2026, or every 15 years until 2131.

The eruption of Mt. Fuji

According to her book, the Japanese psychic has also foreseen the eruption of the iconic Mount Fuji, however once again she seems to be unsure of when exactly it will happen. According to her dream, the earliest date it could have taken place was 20 August 2021, and if not, it will happen on the same date every 15 years up until 2141.

And that's not all, folks. Japan's Baba Vanga predicted nothing less than the end of humanity in the year 5079. While she does not give a specific reason for it, she claims wars and natural disasters will do just the trick.
