Strictly Come Dancing stars potentially at risk as staff member jeopardises security

Strictly Come Dancing will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 6.35pm on Saturday 16 September. As the 15 exceptional stars get ready to showcase their talents and professional dancers get back to the stage that they love the most, not all is roses and rainbow for the show.

After a staff member shared a photo of the backstage pass online, fears over the security of all present at the show have risen rapidly.

According to Mirror, a crew member posted a photo online that clearly showed what the passes look like which has sparked panic behind the scenes of the hit BBC show. The show bosses are concerned that overzealous fans or even those with an ulterior motive could get close to the celebrities and stars of Strictly 2023.

What happens now?
The security blunder has put stars like Bobby Brazier, Zara McDermott and veteran broadcaster Angela Rippon amongst others at risk. Strictly Come Dancing’sstudio in Elstree, North London and when the show transfers to Blackpool for the traditional ballroom live episode - both pose a massive security risk.
