Love Island's Sam Bird announces engagement

Love Island 2018 star Sam Bird took to Instagram to announce his exciting engagement news while enjoying a lavish holiday in Greece.

Bird is set to marry fellow reality tv star, Kailah Casillas after dating for just eight months.

In the love-fulled announcement, Sam made a sneaky reference to his time in the villa by captioning the post:

All my eggs in one basket.

The adorable post was accompanied by a photo of the pair in an embrace with Kailah's eyecatching ring taking centre focus, to which she commented:

This feels like a dream. Love you so much ♥️

Sam's post rallied tons of support from his Love Islandfriends. Jack Fowler cheered Sam on:

Go on the boy!!

Adam Collard also enthusiastically commented on the post claiming he'll be planning the stag festivities:

Florida native, Kailah also made a post of her own announcing the big news with a flash of her diamond ring stating:

I’m marrying my favorite person in the world @samrobertbird

Back in April, Kailah uploaded a video to Youtube detailing how the couple came to be. She stated that Sam did the most romantic thing possible... and liked all of her photos on Instagram. So, she did what anyone would and 'slid into his DM's'. Honestly what more could you expect from dating nowadays?

Kailah is mos known for her stunts on The Challenge,Total Madness and Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club. She also dated DJ Michael 'Mikey P' Pericoloso during her time on The Challenge but the couple split after she had an affair with Celebrity Big Brother star Stephen Bear.  

Back in 2018, Sam shot to fame through his season inLove Islandafter dating Georgia Steel. But, the romance wasn't made to last and the couple split just three months after leaving the villa after claims that Georgia may have cheated on him.
