Love Island fans make Ofcom complaints as Jess and Sammy are crowned the winners

Love Island Series 10 finally ended its summer of love as they crowned Jess and Sammy as the winners. While a public vote decides who would win the show, many viewers were left furious and complained about the results of the show.

Whitney and Lochan and Tyrique and Ella were fan favourites to win the show. When Ella and Tyrique were announced third - fans were devastated as they expected them to be the runners-up at least.

Love Island fans threaten to make Ofcom complaints

When Jess and Sammy and Whitney and Lochan were announced as the top 2 couples, fans still had hope for Whitney to win the show. However, after Jess and Sammy were crowned the winners - many of them were left furious and complained to Ofcom.

According to The Sun, some of them were left ‘disgusted’ by the results. They said:

I say we all do an Ofcom complaint about this robbery.

I'm signing off because I don't believe Jess won with Sammy. It's Ofcom time again.

Jess and Sammy? Ofcom and ITV y’all got 24 hrs to fix this.

I’m mad abt who won bc wtf... I’m disgusted.

Love Island's voting percentage reveals clear winners

Meanwhile, Love Island revealed the number of votes each couple received in a new update today. According to their Instagram, Jess and Sammy received 34.57 per cent of the vote.

Whitney and Lochan received 26.85 per cent, Tyrique and Ella bagged 24.21 per cent and Molly and Zach managed to get 14.37 per cent.

However, fans are still not convinced that Jess and Sammy have received votes in such high numbers. The fact that there were many technical glitches during the live last night suggested to fans that the show bosses may have calculated the results wrong too. They said:

I still think getting the best bits wrong also meant they’ve got the votes wrong but they’ll never say. They’ve already crowned the winners and given the money so it’s done.
