Love Island: A 'mass' dumping shakes the villa as popular Islanders get axed

Our Summer essential is back! ITV2 and ITVX aired Summer Love Island’s 36th episode tonight and 10 sexy singletons embarked on an eventful journey of love. Show host Maya Jama has entered the villa twice with unexpected twists in this series and viewers are loving how messy this series is.

A lot has happened in the villa in the last 4 weeks from Molly Marsh's brutal dumping to her return during Casa Amor, the messy Casa Amor recoupling that dumped six Islanders, made one storm off the set and left 4 of the OG Islanders single.

Summer Love Island villa faces a mass dumping

Tomorrow night's (July 11) preview saw Islanders get a text to gather around the fire pit. It is possible that the text might lead to massive dumping in the villa. A source confirmed that a mass dumping will take place in the villa this week and many popular Islanders will be axed from the show.

The source told The Sun:

Yet again producers have kept the Islanders on their toes and the axe is being swung in a big way.

It's not just one or two people packing their bags anymore.

They added:

Several big names are getting the chop this week - and just when they least expect it.

This comes after the connections in the villa are recovering from Casa Amor and Movie Night's side effects. At this point, many connections are on wobbly ground and it's uncertain who may or may not get dumped from the show.

Summer Love Island fans predict a recoupling tomorrow

Love Island fans have figured out that show bosses will be showing us a recoupling tomorrow before evicting two couples eventually. One took to Twitter and wrote:

Def a recoupling tomorrow night then we’ll vote for our favourite couples. At least this way we’ll be able to keep scott and whitney safe (hopefully)

A second added:

Probably a recoupling. Then after a day or two they sometimes do that club night thing, where they do a double dumping of two couples. Normally one couple is dumped immediately and the other couple is chosen by the islanders. (Or maybe that comes later?)

Two others chimed in:

When it’s a recoupling and the 4 single islanders get to choose first and Scott picks abi. Mitch is gonna be in the dumps. And then they open the public vote and we ensure Cathy and Leah is in the bottom
