Laura Whitmore announces pregnancy just after secret marriage to Iain Stirling

News ofLaura Whitmore and Iain Stirling’s low-key Dublin wedding has just recently made the headlines, but it seems that the couple isn’t done delivering good news to the world as Laura is also pregnant!

TheLove Island presenter and voice-over artist got married in a minmal Dublin ceremony last month and in continuing to share their milestones with their fans, Laura posted on Instagram stating that it looks like her ‘lock down beer belly is out of control’:

So I’ve always tried to be protective over the personal side of my life. A lot of things are just for me and my loved ones and we’ve chosen not to share publicly.

Laura admitted that despite her and Iain doing their best to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, she just wanted to share in the good news.

However I want to now share good news as it’s our news to share - and I’m gonna be honest it’s starting to look like my lock down beer belly is out of control.

Laura explained to her fans that she has had a hard time keeping the news private after experiencing bouts of morning sickness while on the job:

Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021. It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet. Especially the times when I’ve had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning.

The star went on with her announcement, claiming that people must have thought she was constantly hungover. But, Laura bravely admitted she made it through the entire Celebrity Juice season completely sober (hats off to her!)

I wasn’t hungover like everyone thought. In fact I was completely sober filming the entire series of Celeb Juice, which is quite the accolade! We’d appreciate our privacy respected but just wanted to spread some love and a reminder of the beauty of life ❤️

The couple posted their good news alongside an adorable Guns ‘N Roses Sweet Child O Mine onesie, the perfect size for a tiny human.

A secret wedding

After getting engaged back in April, the couple finally managed to tie the knot last month in a secret ceremony in Dublin.

In compliance with coronavirus regulations the pair only had 25 guests in their humanist ceremony, with Laura’s half brother Adam and Iain’s sister Kirsten acting as witnesses.

Laura and Iain have tried to keep their marriage secret since the ceremony, but some sharp fans had already noticed Laura’s new wedding ring during her recent appearance onLoose Women. A source told The Sun:

Iain and Laura are so in love, they really wanted to get married as soon as possible. Despite circumstances not being ideal, it was such a romantic day.

Looks like congratulations are in order for the happy couple!
