Of course, this rather original film created quite the scandal. Why? Because of the very explicit ‘non-consensual' sex scenes and the Stockholm syndrome that some internet users deemed ‘exaggerated’.

Following the controversy and all the criticism that they received on social media, the leading actor, Michele Morrone, decided to speak up.
The beautiful man took to Instagram to clear things up:

We hope this message reassured the many haters out there, however it did nothing to help with the criticism the film itself received.
