The Duchess of Sussex has been estranged from her father since she married Harry in 2018 after he was caught out faking paparazzi shots shortly before the ceremony. He has since given several interviews pleading for her to speak to him again and has now vowed to take legal action after saying he has not yet met his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.

However, relationship expert Tina Wilson warned this plan may not be successful in getting Harry and Meghan to back down.

The Sussexes are likely to respond aggressively with legal paperwork back, if and when Mr Markle files his officially with the court of California.
New beginnings
The couple are currently taking a break to spend more time with their newborn Lilibet, who was born June 4.
They also welcomed their first child Archie back in 2019, months before dramatically quitting their roles as senior royals.
