The video was posted on February 12th on Twitter. It shows the Duchess of Cambridge about to cuddle a snake. But Middleton elegantly held the animal. With a smile on her face, the Duchess looked to be very amused by the snake she was holding in her hands.

Kate Middleton, close to children, did not hesitate to have a little girl also touch the animal. There followed a surprising moment when Kate seemed to have forgotten all her responsibilities and simply had fun with the animal.

If this moment of snake charming was not especially planned, the meeting with the inhabitants of Northern Ireland had a purpose: to make people forget about Megxit. Since the departure ofPrince Harry and Meghan Markle, the British have been worried about the royal family.
