Princess Charlotte takes after Lady Diana's style as well as her looks

When Lady Diana was alive her fashion sense was already massively spoken about. She was elegant and yet daring which wasn't always to KingCharles' liking.

On top of her iconic outfits, Lady Diana was known for her very expressive face.

On many occasions she graced royal outings with memorable reactions.

The first one that comes to mind is that time she fell asleep during a royal engagement. In all fairness, she was at the beginning of her first pregnancy at the time of the picture.

However, while this incident was famous at the time and still is, Lady Diana remains wildly known for her grace, gentle energy and her dash of sass.

These attributes, that many people still love so much they can now find in another royal: her granddaughter Princess Charlotte.

Princess Charlotte and Lady Diana: generational looks

Since Princess Charlotte was a baby, royal fans have pointed out the resemblance she carries to her late grandmother.

Indeed, it is evident that even as children they were very similar.

As Princess Charlotte kept growing, the resemblance kept up as well. But this time, it was no longer just sharing the same eyes or the same physical features.

Very recently, at King Charles III’s coronation, a picture of Charlotte went viral. In the picture the Princess looks over her shoulder and straight into the camera.

At first everyone compared Charlotte’s look with her mother’s,Kate Middleton as the two were twinning at the Coronation.

But it can also be brought up that that look isn’t a Middleton trait, but a Spencer one.

Princess Charlotte also has her grandmother’s fashion sense

While many have been comparing Kate Middleton’s outfit to her late mother in law’s, the real fashion link might be between Princess Charlotte and her grandmother.

On several occasions, the two can be seen to be wearing similar outfits.

A more recent example is Charlotte’s dress during Trooping The Colour. The simple and possiblyupcycled red and white dress can be reminiscent of Diana’s love for this colour combination.

The collar on Charlotte’s dress could also be a little nod to how her grandmother used to wear her jumpers.

At the King’s coronation, Charlotte’s high collared cape could be a nod to Diana’s ‘Elvis Dress’ that she wore in 1989.
