Princess Beatrice: Her husband shared a rare photo of royal baby Sienna

Over the years, the world has seen Princess Beatrice (granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth, and cousin to Prince William and Harry) grow up from a girl to a woman. Being the apple of the paparazzi’s eye, she is frequently seen engaging in royal activities and living it up with her family.

While Princess Beatrice never shies away from the shutterbugs and paps, that isn’t the case with the rest of her family. Beatrice and her husband Edo are seen publicly together, but they shield their daughter from the public’s eye. That is, until recently. Here’s everything you need to know about Princess Beatrice’s little one, and her recent media appearance.

Sienna Elizabeth, the young royal

Sienna Elizabeth, partly named after her grandmother, was born in 2021. Her parents Edoardo Mozzi and Princess Beatrice had her soon after their quiet low-key wedding during the 2020s peak COVID season. Eduardo, who is a real estate mogul, is a multi-millionaire himself and has ties to nobility. Sienna is allegedly 10th in the line of succession to the throne, right behind her mother Princess Beatrice, who occupies number 9, as per BBC.

The royal couple prefers to keep some things private, and this applies to their daughter. Despite her lineage, thetwo-year-old royal has almost never been captured by cameras. But her father gave his Instagram family a sneak peek of the young royal in her element.

Sienna - an homage to the royals

Sienna Elizabeth is partly named after her grandmother, the Duchess of York - Sarah Ferguson. Needless to say, her name is an homage to all the women close to Princess Beatrice. As per Hello! Magazine, a source close to the royals, said the following about Sienna’s name.

They were looking for an Italian name which started with an S for Sarah, to honour the Duchess, and also reflected the golden rust colour of both the Duchess's hair colour and Beatrice's which the new baby shares.

Recently, the world saw a rare glimpse of the royal toddler, and the picture has been making its rounds on the internet, given that the world can’t seem to get enough of Sienna. Here’s what the picture is all about.

Sienna’s first media appearance

By media, we mean social media. Sienna’s doting father, Edo, recently posted a picture of Sienna in order to commemorate her second birthday. Sienna, who turned two recently on September 18, made her social media debut via her father’s account. The image saw little Sienna from behind, taking a stroll outdoors in a beautiful floral dress. Florals are a staple for Princess Beatrice, and it looks like it is a go-to for Sienna’s wardrobe as well.

To top it off, the young royal was wearing a sombrero, which is expected, given the royal family’s love for hats in general. The picture was uploaded with the following caption by her doting father.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl. You bring us so much love and joy every day.

Sienna isn’t an only child, as she has an older brother named Christopher Woolf. Wolfie as he is fondly called (born out of a previous relationship of Edo's), is 7 years old and is well-loved by Princess Beatrice. She even mentions him in official events, and has said the following about the quality time they spend together as per Hello! Magazine.
