Buckingham Palace has announced the birth of yet another royal baby, Princess Beatrice’s first child, who was born on Saturday, 18 September at 11:42 PM.

New addition to the family

The Queen’s newest great-granddaughter was born at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, weighing a healthy 6 pounds and 2 ounces. The palace wrote:

Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.

The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news. The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care.
The Palace confirmed that both Princess Beatrice and her baby are healthy, and the parents are excited to introduce her to their son, Christopher Woolf.

Queen's great-grandchildren

The youngest generation of the royal family has been quickly expanding, first with the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's second child, Lilibet Diana, and now with Princess Beatrice's daughter.
