Prince Harry appeared on the podcast Armchair Expert this week. The podcast is hosted by actors Dax Shepard (husband of Kristen Bell) and Monica Padman and is about ‘the messiness of being human’. It has previously featured a whole host of famous faces from Mila Kunis to Bill Gates.

Prince Harry opens up about royal life
In the podcast, Harry got seriously honest about life as a member of the Royal Family. He described life as a royal as being like ‘a mix between The Truman Show and living in a zoo.’ While many critics have blamed Meghan for Harry’s distancing from the Royal Family, his comments make it clear he has been wanting to escape royal life for a long time.

I was in my early twenties and I was thinking I don't want this job, I don't want to be here. I don't want to be doing this. Look what it did to my mum, how am I ever going to settle down and have a wife and family when I know it's going to happen again.
Harry and Meghan in LA
Harry also opened up about how freeing living in LA has been for him and Meghan, saying:
I can actually lift my head and I feel different, my shoulders have dropped, so have hers, you can walk around feeling a little bit more free, I can take Archie on the back of my bicycle, I would never have had the chance to do that.More under this adMore under this ad
Harry and Meghan moved to the United States with their son Archie last year after taking a step back from the Royal Family. They now live in Los Angeles. Archie recently celebrated his second birthday and Meghan and Harry are expecting their second child, a baby girl, very soon.
