As it edged closer and closer to the modern day, the latest series of The Crown came under fire from many for its representation of the Royal Family. Some, including the UK culture secretary Oliver Dowden, even called for warnings to be displayed before each episode pointing out that the show is fiction.

What does Prince Harry think of The Crown?
However, Prince Harry, whose late mother Princess Diana featured heavily in the latest series, has told James Corden that he doesn’t have an issue with the show. He told the presenter:

Prince Harry, who moved to the US last year, continued:
I’m way more comfortable with The Crown than I am seeing the stories written about my family, my wife, or myself. That is obviously fiction, take it how you will, but this is being reported on as fact because you are supposedly news. I have a real issue with that.More under this adMore under this ad
Harry even went so far as to suggest who he would pick to play him in a future series of The Crown – Homeland star Damian Lewis. Harry is one of the only royals to have spoken openly about The Crown–although several members of the family are rumoured to have watched it. Princess Eugenie previously said the first season of the show made her ‘feel very proud.’
Prince Harry gives updates on baby Archie
Elsewhere in the interview, Prince Harry gave some updates on baby Archie–who is soon to become a big brother. Harry revealed that Archie’s first word was ‘crocodile.’ He also confirmed that the little one regularly gets to see his great-grandparents the Queen and Prince Philip via Zoom calls.
