Some of the most virulent commentators of the couple appear on GB News, especially on Dan Wootton’s daily show. Last night’s (2 August) was no exception. According to Sky News who reports on the segment, royal experts didn’t seem convinced by the couple’s video.

Ingrid Stewart said:

They all look very beautiful. It’s in their garden, and they talk to these young kids and say how wonderful they are … but it’s totally controlled, and I think rather unnatural

It is true that the couple looks absolutely perfect, all smiles and complimentary. The set is also impeccable and so are their outfits. But isn’t it normal considering that this is a video made to be shared online?

That is the criticism another royal expert has. Lady Victoria Hervey, a royal insider refers to the video as a mere ‘PR stunt.

It’s the way he looks at her for me 🥰😍😮‍💨

For the royal fans, this video and the couple’s behaviour appears to squash the rumours of their upcoming divorce. It also goes to show that the couple is not as struggling as the media has been saying.

Indeed, for the past couple months, media attention around the Sussexes has been focused on their losses including their Spotify and Netflix deals, Harry’s memoir being tossed and their relationship allegedly failing.

What's next for the Sussexes?

This video comes after it was announced that the couple had not been invited to Balmoral for the Royal Family's summer gathering. While this is sad, this news came as no surprise as the relationship between the Sussexes and The Firm has been tumultuous since they left the UK in 2020.

But that doesn't stop Prince Harry and Meghan from having their own summer plans. According to Express, Prince Harry will be busy this summer going to Asia. His first stop will be Japan on 9 August to attend 'a summit based around sport, community and philanthropy.' Then, he will be heading for Singapore for a 'charity Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup match.'

And Prince Harry won't stop there. He will also be going to Dusseldorf, Germany, for the Invictus Games in September. For Meghan, we are sure that the Duchess will be keeping busy as she has signed with new agency which could give her a lot of work.

This busy schedule is exactly what the couple needed as they will be in the spotlight for their work while the Royal Family, on the contrary will be nowhere to be seen.

One royal expert stated:

Given that during this time, the Royal Family will be off rusticating in a remote corner of Scotland (...) with Brand Sussex about to be everywhere and Team Crown largely absent from the picture.
