An ‘unethical’ donation acceptance
Reports from The Times have revealed that the Prince of Wales’ Charitable Fund (PWCF) accepted a donation from Osama Bin Laden’s family.
More under this adMore under this adAs reported by Sky News, Prince Charles had met with Osama Bin Laden’s half-brother, Bakr in London back in 2013. It is believed that the Prince of Walesagreed to accept a £1 million donation.
The Times report claims that multiple of Charles’ closest advisers warned him not to accept the donation, citing various sources.

Clarence House - Prince Charles and Camilla’s official residence - has denied any wrongdoing and has said that protocol was followed with the donation.

Due diligence was conducted, with information sought from a wide range of sources, including government.

Moreover, Clarence House has denied that Prince Charles was directly involved, telling Sky News:
The Prince of Wales' Charitable Fund has assured us that thorough due diligence was undertaken in accepting this donation.
