Grateful for her absence
Prince Philip’s funeral was just a month after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had the explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey - on April 17. According to The Sun, Bower’s book details that her majesty was taking care of everything as she prepared to go to St George's Chapel for the service. Prince Harry arrived a few hours before the service and the mood was intense.
More under this adMore under this adThe only worry during the funeral was ‘how would he cope with his father and brother.’ Meghan was seven months pregnant and so she was unable to travel and Tom Bower has claimed that the news gave great relief to the 96-year-old monarch. Bower writes in his book:

Bower has not specified the source of his information and Buckingham Palace has declined to comment on it or the claims made in the book. The book is due to be released next week.

Tom Bower is Britain’s leading investigative biographer who usually writes about business tycoons or newspaper proprietors.
