14 November marks the birthday of King Charles III and this year he celebrates his very first birth as the monarch of England.

Prince Charles officially became King Charles III on September 8 following the Queen's passing. According to Tatler, he is the oldest monarch to take up the throne in British history.

With his new title and the acceptance of his new Royal responsibilities, people all over the world are curious about what kind of a monarch King Charles III is going to be.

Causes that Charles has supported

Like all the other Royal family members, Charles is a consistent supporter of various charitable causes. One of the passions that he's conveyed is the preservation of the environment and climate change, reports The Guardian.

He has driven electric cars and has consistently fostered the idea of planting trees amongst the public. He has also provided financial support to science and technology establishments to further the advancements toward cutting carbon emissions and combatting climate change.

What the future holds for the new Monarch

According to The Daily Mail, one of the endeavors that King Charles III has indicated in the past includes the limiting of key Royals in order to reduce the public expenditure for the Monarchy. This means that the Monarchy will be more streamlined to facilitate a smaller yet focused procession of events and duties.

As the national mourning period continues, the state funeral of the late Queen is set to take place on September 19.
