As of yet, we do not know what Princess Kate will wear for her father-in-law’s coronation. It is tradition for the women of the Royal Family to wear tiaras for coronation ceremonies. Indeed there are a number of tiaras for the Princess of Wales to choose from.

Princess Kate hinted at wearing blue
The Prince and Princess of Wales were in Birmingham on Friday, April 21. Prince William and Kate answered the phone at an Indian restaurant during their visit whilst in fits of laughter.

Princess Kate may not wear a tiara
After Princess Kate’s hint, people have speculated that the ‘wearing blue’ isn’t going to be her dress, but in fact a tiara.
More under this adMore under this adHowever, there is speculation that the women, such as Princess Kate and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh may not wear tiaras for the big day, breaking away from tradition once again.
King Charles has been trying to modernise the Royal Family since taking the throne. He may follow fellow European royal families and opt for daytime casual attire for his coronation.

If Princess Kate does choose to wear a tiara that is blue, she would have the choice between 4 tiaras that feature blue gems: the Modern Sapphire Tiara, the Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara, the Teck Turquoise Tiara or the Brazilian Aquamarine Parure Tiara.
