It looks like summer is over for the Royal Family as they are back to doing their royal duties!

The Royals have been going back to their duties after the summer holidays and marking Queen Elizabeth's very first death anniversary, and Kate Middleton's most recent appearance has been the talk of the town.

On Tuesday 12 September, Kate Middleton visited the HMP High Down prison in Surrey, where she spent the morning learning about the prison and how charity Forward Trust supports inmates who are struggling with addiction.

Kate Middleton is the patron of the Forward Trust charity, who not only helps inmates, but also their families, to deal with the consequences of addiction.

After the visit was over, Kate Middleton said it was 'incredibly inspirational', while the governer of High Down said, as quoted by Hello!:

She's very natural and clearly genuinely interested which I think is really important… I think prison visits, it's an interesting place, because not an awful lot is known about prisons.
It's really nice to get some positive press and for her to see some of the good work [we're] trying to achieve.

Although her visit to the prison did get attention for the purpose that it was intended for, there was another detail that had the media and royal fans buzzing.

Luckily, a spokesperson for Kate Middleton cleared up any chance of speculation and said that it was a 'small injury' that she got from playing on the trampoline with her children.

However, while everyone was busy focusing on her injured fingers, there was another change in the Princess that not many noticed.
