The 30 pound loss was done over 4 months during which she took several WeGovy injections. While Sharon Osbourne seems happy with the results she’s achieved she does say that the process of the injections wasn’t smooth sailing.

She says:

I was very sick for a couple of months. The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever.

She now shares that she hasn’t gained any weight back and is able to eat normally.

The WeGovy treatment she underwent isn’t the only weight loss technique Osbourne tried. The Daily Mail reports that ‘in 1999, she underwent gastric bypass surgery.’ Osbourne later expressed regret over that surgery and in 2006 she had the surgery reversed.

When Sharon Osbourne shared her experience with the injections, she also issued an honest warning.

She said that she was ‘very sick’ and she ‘felt nauseous’ everyday. But there are other, more serious, side effects which the WeGovy website lists.

At the very top of the very long list is ‘thyroid tumors including cancer.’ The company shares that while they were testing on rodents, cases of cancers appeared in ‘Wegovy and medicines that work like Wegovy’.
