Elon Musk, one of the world’s richest men, is reportedly trying to lose weight while relying on a medication usually used to treat diabetes.

Ozempic a medication produced in Denmark has become a go-to injection for elites as a quick-get-thin solution. A report by Daily Mailnow suggests that Elon Musk has been relying on this therapy as well.

Originally approved to treat Type 2 diabetes

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the Ozempic medication to treat Type 2 Diabetes. However, now increasingly it is also used by many celebrities for weight loss, including Elon Musk as well.

According to a Wall StreetJournalreport about Ozempic, the drug has become:

‘the talk of Hollywood, Tech, and the Hamptons’.

Citing Patti Stanger, executive producer of the reality show ‘Millionaire Matchmaker,’ told the WSJ:

‘it’s the Hollywood drug.’

Some other celebs who have used Ozempic, include Kim Kardashian who according to reports went from 25 to 18 body fat percentage in a short time, News of Canada reports.

Meanwhile, a lot of diabetes patients are complaining online that they are being unable to get hold of the drug also due to its large demand among celebrities.
